Nina Katchadourian art is very different. She does alot of different things from photography, sound, video and sculpture. What I really like from her was her photgraphy. Eventhought her photagaphy is only picture of what she really creater. For example she finds patches of moss that look like different countries from around the world. She then she addes text on told of the moss with the name of the county it looks like. It seem very time consuming using nature a your art. I also love the way she find spider webs and some how weaves colored text into the web or just color to part of the web.I love how she uses found objects I shows how anything can be art and any one can create art if they have a creative mind.

Duane Hanson artwork in one of a kind. His is art is looked at as Pop Art. Since the 70s he's been creating life size sculptures of people out of bronze or fiberglass and bondo. He get theses sculpture by casting live models. He even includes himself in one of his pieces. This gives it the more life like look. The sculpture he creates are posed in various positions depicting everyday scenes. Some of his most known sculpture scenes are Accident (1967) which
showed a motorcycle crash; and Race Riot (1969–1971) which is seven figures a white policeman terrorizing an African American man as well as an African American rioter attacking the policeman. His art has a very serious conceptually meaning but at first glance is very comical. The comical part is what I liked at first seeing his work. For example Tourist II, he depicts what the typical tourist would look like back in the 80s early 90s by having the colorful shirts multiple cameras around there neck.

Henry Moore was an artist that we looked at during one of our lectures. He had the desire to become a sculptor at age ten after seeing Michelangelo's achievements. His art work caught my attention it is abstract yet representational. Very pleasing and relaxing. He is best know for creating bronze sculpture that are displayed publicly around the world. To me it a little surprising that the are publicly displayed because a lot of his work depict the female body. It is very organic yet geometric in some instances. He leave alot of hallow space though out making you go around and want to see the other side. His sculptures keep you guessing.
While on my winter break this last year I went to Mexico. I had the opportunit to go inside the National Palace in Mexico City. I had a chance to see alot of great art work but one in piticular artist that is known world wide, i got to see his art first hand. Diego Rivera. His love for art slowly developed at the age of ten . The his family moved from Guanajuato, where he was born to Mexico City. That is when his love for art really started. He was granted a scholarship to attend San Carlos' Fine Arts Academy. Years after being expelled from there in 1902 due to his action in the students protest he had his very first exposition. This exposition earned his a Veracruz's government scholarship and he continued his studies in Spain. Throughout the years he travel all over Europe picking up and various different methods of art from post-impressionism to cubisum.
He then in turn created his own original art work. In 1910 he exhibited forty of his pieces in Mexico and got a great reaction from the public even though his technique was not yet fully developed. The one piece that caught my eye was a wall to wall, floor to ceiling mural. It is a master piece. In this mural he depicted the history of Mexico. His paintings have a very bright and vibrant color to them. This mural is layed out very well and transitions very well from one pint in history to the next. I love how he shows emotion in his painting, just by looking at the you can tell how the individual feel.
Brian Jungen graduated from Vancouver’s Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design in 1992. He put himself on the map in 1999 with Prototypes for New Understanding, which is one of the most requested exhibits from Vancouver Art Gallery’s contemporary holdings. His art is based of found objects. He takes the found object and take it totally out of context concealing what the original object is. Such as in Prototypes for New Understanding. He took Nike Jordan Brand basketball shoes, cut them up and sewed the back together to create a mask. It is amazing how you can take an everyday objects and turn it into something totally different hiding its original purpose.
Shapeshifter is one of his most popular creations done in 2000.He created this with plastic white lawn chairs and created the skeleton of a whale. This was commemorative to the help "save the whales" movement from the 60s

He doesn't just tattoo, He is widely sought for sign painting, graffiti, automotive murals and magazine illustrations which makes him a universal artist. Recently he did a mural for Boys & Girls Club of American in Los Angeles.
He designs a lot of stuff for well known Nike. Ironically graffiti art is frowned upon but it has opened many doors for Mister Cartoon. So no matter what type of art you do, you should never give up.I like his creativeness. How he incorporates everything he knows. But what I like is the old graffiti, Chicano style art he does.

Tinker Hatfield is one of the most admired and loved designer in the shoes industry. He has designed Nike's most popular shoes. Such as Air Jordan III through Air Jordan XV, the twentieth anniversary Air Jordan XX, the final numbered Air Jordan, the XXIII, the 2010 (XXV). He ran track at the University of Oregon for Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman. He joined Nike in 1981 and in 1985 started using his Architect degree to design shoes.
He is said to be the creator and designer of the cross training shoes because he would see people at the gym take various different shoes to accommodate each activity. So we ended creating a shoe known as the cross training that would work with all and any activity.
Tinker Hatfield doesn't just design shoes he create the new design for the university of Oregon Men's Basketball Team floor. The University of Oregon is the main donor of Nike.
I love his work because without him who knows where the Jordan Brand would be today. his desgins are just astonishing, crisp and clean. My original major was to be a architect but changed to graphic design in order to one day design stuff as Tinker has.
