Henry Moore

Henry Moore was an artist that we looked at during one of our lectures.He had the desire to become a sculptor at age ten after seeing Michelangelo's achievements. His art work caught my attention it is abstract yet representational. Very pleasing and relaxing.  He is best know for creating bronze sculpture that are displayed publicly around the world. To me it a little surprising that the are publicly displayed because a lot of his work depict the female body. It is very organic yet geometric in some instances. He leave alot of hallow space though out making you go around and want to see the other side.His sculptures keep you guessing.
