Tinker Hatfield

Tinker Hatfield is one of the most admired and loved designer in the shoes industry. He has designed Nike's most popular shoes. Such as Air Jordan III through Air Jordan XV, the twentieth anniversary Air Jordan XX, the final numbered Air Jordan, the XXIII, the 2010 (XXV). He ran track at the University of Oregon for Nike co-founder Bill Bowerman. He joined Nike in 1981 and in 1985 started using his Architect degree to design shoes.

He is said to be the creator and designer of the cross training shoes because he would see people at the gym take various different shoes to accommodate each activity. So we  ended creating a shoe known as the cross training that would work with all and any activity.

Tinker Hatfield doesn't just design shoes he create the new design for the university of Oregon Men's Basketball Team floor. The University of Oregon is the main donor of Nike.
I love his work because without him who knows where the Jordan Brand would be today. his desgins are just astonishing, crisp and clean. My original major was to be a architect but changed to graphic design in order to one day design stuff as Tinker has.
